Sacred Ceremony Retreat
Join us for a 4-night sacred container designed for deep personal work, spiritual clarity, and quiet reflection. Held at our secluded ranch in Arizona, these spiritual immersions offer a sacred space to reconnect with your essential nature, deepen your spiritual life, and clarify your sacred path.
Prerequisite for Participation: Attendance at our sacred ceremonies requires your sincere affirmation that you are seeking access for spiritual purposes. We recognize that spiritual growth often encompasses the holistic healing of mental, emotional, and physical suffering — but participation must be rooted in a genuine desire to engage with this spiritual path, not solely to obtain a substance. If you are uncertain whether this path is right for you, we welcome a conversation before you register.
The Journey of Reconnection
Our retreats are structured to help you shed the distractions of the modern world and settle into the natural pulse of the Earth. We facilitate three sacred ceremonies, culminating in a dedicated day of integration to ensure the wisdom of the plants becomes a lasting part of your path.
- Thursday: Arrive by 4:00 PM to decompress and ground your energy into the landscape. Our first ceremony begins at 7:00 PM to open the gateway to the medicine and begin the process of unlearning modern disconnection.
- Friday: Following a morning of communal sharing, the day is spent in quiet reflection among the trees and wildlife. Our second ceremony takes place in the evening, deepening our dialogue with the spirit of the vine.
- Saturday: A day dedicated to physical rest and contemplative stillness, allowing the body to process the work of the previous nights. In the evening, we enter our third and final ceremony to solidify our bond with the divine and the natural world.
- Sunday: This day is entirely devoted to integration. We engage in nature immersion and grounded practices to weave our insights into the self, ending with a celebratory fire circle to honor the elements and our shared experience.
- Monday: Following a final communal breakfast, we begin our soft transitions back to the world by 11:00 AM, carrying the healing and teachings of the Earth with us.

The Foundation: Safety & Responsibility
Your well-being is our primary responsibility. As a religious sanctuary operating under the protections of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, we uphold rigorous safety standards to ensure that you are physically and spiritually supported as you reconnect with the sacrament and the land.
Why Preparation is Necessary
The sacrament works in deep harmony with the body's natural chemistry. Many modern medications and substances can create "contraindications"—biochemical conflicts that may not only block the medicine's ability to teach and heal but can also cause dangerous physical stress, such as elevated heart rate or blood pressure.
By clearing these substances from your system, you are doing more than just staying safe; you are "clearing the channel," allowing your nervous system to return to a natural state of receptivity so you can fully communicate with the spirit of the plants.
The Intake Process
All participants must complete our intake process before attending ceremony. This includes:
- Reviewing our spiritual doctrine to ensure you are aligned with our beliefs
- Affirming that you are seeking access to our ceremonies for spiritual purposes
- Completing a confidential health review to ensure the sacrament is compatible with your current health profile and any medications you may be using
By approaching the medicine with this level of care, we create a secure environment for deep spiritual work.
| Category | Examples | Recommended Lead Time |
|---|---|---|
| Antidepressants | SSRIs, MAOIs, SNRIs (e.g., Zoloft, Effexor) | 6 Weeks |
| Central Nervous System | Benzodiazepines, Sleep Aids | 3 Weeks |

Important Note on Medical History: If you have a history of heart conditions, epilepsy, or certain psychiatric disorders (such as Bipolar I or Schizophrenia), a direct consultation with our screening coordinator is vital and required before registration can be finalized. This ensures we can provide the appropriate level of care and determine the safest path forward for your journey.
Important Notice Regarding Medications:
Our screening process is a ministerial screening process designed to reduce the likelihood of contraindications with the sacrament. We do not and cannot provide medical advice, medical treatment, or mental health therapy services as part of these retreats. Any decision to discontinue, taper, or adjust medications must be made under the supervision and with the support of your own medical or mental health provider. Earth Connection Community does not instruct, advise, or encourage participants to stop taking prescribed medications.
For a deeper understanding of safety and the sacrament, read our guide: Is the Sacrament Safe? What You Need to Know Before Ceremony.
