What is Shipibo?
Shipibo-Konibo is an indigenous Panoan language spoken by approximately 35,000 people in the Ucayali region of the Peruvian Amazon. The Shipibo people are known for their rich tradition of geometric art patterns (kené) and sacred healing songs (icaros).
Despite its cultural significance, Shipibo has had no English-language dictionary — until now.
