Sacred Ceremony in the Shipibo Tradition
A 4-night sacred container of three ceremonies, held at our secluded sanctuary in Arizona. A living lineage of the Peruvian Amazon, offering a sacred space to reconnect with your essential nature, deepen your spiritual life, and clarify your sacred path.
Prerequisite for Participation: Attendance at our sacred ceremonies requires your sincere affirmation that you are seeking access for spiritual purposes. We recognize that spiritual growth often encompasses the holistic healing of mental, emotional, and physical suffering — but participation must be rooted in a genuine desire to engage with this spiritual path, not solely to obtain a substance. If you are uncertain whether this path is right for you, we welcome a conversation before you register.
The Journey of Reconnection
Our gatherings are structured to help you shed the distractions of the modern world and settle into the natural pulse of the Earth. We facilitate three sacred ceremonies, culminating in a dedicated day of integration to ensure the wisdom of the plants becomes a lasting part of your path.
Across four nights we hold three ceremonies, framed by time to arrive and ground when you come and a full day devoted to integration before you return home. The days move gently between ceremony and rest, communal sharing and quiet reflection among the trees, closing with a fire circle to honor the elements and our shared experience.
Once you connect with a facilitator, we walk you through the full schedule and everything you'll need to prepare.

The Sanctuary Experience
Every element of the sanctuary is held with intention, helping you step away from modern distractions and settle into a state of receptivity and spiritual renewal.
- Traditional Stewardship: Three sacred ceremonies guided by Shipibo-trained facilitators and a compassionate, spiritually-grounded support team, bridging ancient plant wisdom with devoted care.
- Communion with the Land: Private hiking trails, dark-sky stargazing, and quiet outdoor spaces for meditation, allowing the elements of nature to act as your co-teachers.
- End-to-End Support: Spiritual guidance for both pre-ceremony preparation and post-ceremony integration, ensuring the connection you build with the Earth and yourself remains strong after you return home.
The Foundation: Safety & Responsibility
Your well-being is our primary responsibility. As a religious sanctuary operating under the protections of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, we uphold rigorous safety standards to ensure that you are physically and spiritually supported as you reconnect with the sacrament and the land.
Why Preparation is Necessary
The sacrament works in deep harmony with the body's natural chemistry. Many modern medications and substances can create "contraindications"—biochemical conflicts that may not only block the medicine's ability to teach and heal but can also cause dangerous physical stress, such as elevated heart rate or blood pressure.
By clearing these substances from your system, you are doing more than just staying safe; you are "clearing the channel," allowing your nervous system to return to a natural state of receptivity so you can fully communicate with the spirit of the plants.
The Intake Process
All participants must complete our intake process before attending ceremony. This includes:
- Reviewing our spiritual doctrine to ensure you are aligned with our beliefs
- Affirming that you are seeking access to our ceremonies for spiritual purposes
- Completing a confidential health review to ensure the sacrament is compatible with your current health profile and any medications you may be using
By approaching the medicine with this level of care, we create a secure environment for deep spiritual work.
Certain medications and substances are best cleared from your system before ceremony, each with its own recommended lead time. When you connect with us, our intake screening walks through everything you take and the right timing together with you, so you arrive ready to receive the sacrament.
Important Note on Medical History: If you have a history of heart conditions, epilepsy, or certain psychiatric disorders (such as Bipolar I or Schizophrenia), a direct consultation with our screening coordinator is vital and required before joining ceremony. This ensures we can provide the appropriate level of care and determine the safest path forward for your journey.
Important Notice Regarding Medications:
Our screening process is an intake screening process designed to reduce the likelihood of contraindications with the sacrament. We do not and cannot provide medical advice, medical treatment, or mental health therapy services as part of these ceremonies. Any decision to discontinue, taper, or adjust medications must be made under the supervision and with the support of your own medical or mental health provider. Earth Connection Community does not instruct, advise, or encourage participants to stop taking prescribed medications.

Reciprocity & Sustenance
Earth Connection is a religious community in the Shipibo tradition. Our sanctuary is sustained by the collective support of our community — an act of reciprocity that keeps the land, the lineage, and one another cared for, and holds a safe and nourishing container for this sacred work.
When you speak with a facilitator, they will walk you through everything the path involves.
Earth Connection Community is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit religious organization.
