The ceremonial community is the formal religious body of Earth Connection Community — the facilitators, angels, screening coordinators, and members who together carry the ceremonial life and spiritual mission of the organization. Membership in the ceremonial community reflects an ongoing commitment, not a single visit: those who belong to it return, deepen their practice, and take on shared responsibility for the wellbeing of the whole.
Each role within the ceremonial community carries distinct responsibilities. Facilitators lead ceremony and hold the ceremonial container. Angels offer compassionate presence and practical support during ceremony. Screening coordinators conduct the intake and contraindication screening that helps ensure participants come to ceremony with sincere spiritual purpose and without significant contraindication risk. Members participate in the community's ongoing spiritual life beyond any single ceremony — study, gathering, and mutual support.
Together these roles form a community bound by shared religious commitment rather than a customer relationship. The ceremonial community exists to sustain ECC's ceremonial tradition across time, to hold one another accountable to its values, and to pass its practice on to those who come after.
