Departure Ritual

A brief ceremony or practice marking the end of the retreat and the participant's return to ordinary life — honoring the threshold and carrying the spirit of the retreat forward.

The Departure Ritual is a short closing practice held as guests prepare to leave the retreat center and return to their daily lives. It may include a final blessing from the facilitator, a shared prayer or moment of gratitude, or a simple circle where participants speak a word or intention they wish to carry forward.

Rather than an abrupt end, the ritual marks the retreat's closing threshold deliberately — honoring the spiritual journey of the days just completed and asking for continued guidance as each participant re-enters ordinary life.
